CATERING GALS:

Sara Taylor -Event Specialist; Sara (or as we call her (Sarat) has been with W&R for approximately 3 years this summer.  August will be her 1 year wedding anniversary- a Wine & Roses Wedding last year!  Her hobbies include thrift shopping, perfecting her Wii game, and Happy Hours. Sara’s favorite TV shows are ‘Mad Men’ and ‘The Soup’. Not everyone knows that it freaks Sara out to drive down the freeway with the windows down.  The most important life lesson Sara has learned is ‘to be patient’.  Sara’s expertise as an Event Specialist is providing positivity and helping her customers deal with the stress of planning an event. Her favorite thing about working at W&R is the employees.

Julie Clemings -Event Specialist; Julie has been with W&R for approximately 4 years this fall. She has been married for 19 years and has 2 daughters. Julie is a Virgo, and specializes in customer service in her position- no stress planning from booking to event day. She enjoys making her customer’s and their guests feel welcome and that they made the very best choice in wedding venues. She likes watching ‘Lost” and ‘24’, spending quality time with her family, reading and playing board games. Not everyone knows that Julie has a famous Cousin, Bridget Marquardt. The most important lesson Julie has learned so far is “To thank God for his Blessings and have patience and follow through.” Julie’s favorite thing about working at W&R is the grounds and the people, and meeting new brides and grooms.

SALES TEAM:

Erin Hopps -Catering Sales Manager;  Erin has been with W&R for approximately 2 years this summer.  Erin is engaged!  (Finally, we say to Joseph!) She likes to horseback ride, ski, and play softball. She loves chocolate!  If she were a crayon, she would be the color BLUE, and her favorite TV shows are ‘Brothers & Sisters’ and ‘The Closer’.  The most important life lesson Erin has learned is ‘Never give up’.  Erin now handles all of our off-premise catering events, and her specialty in her position is helping her customers create the vision of their event. Erin loves working at W&R to meet new people everyday.

Sarah Sutherland -Sales Manager- specializing in the Corporate Market;  Sarah (or as we call her Sarahs) has been with W&R for approximately 2 years in April.  Sarah has 2 daughters; Tarynn & Atalya. Sarah’s favorite food is Mexican, she loves spending time with her family, and planning- planning anything…her day, a trip, a birthday. Something not many people know about Sarah is that she loves budgeting her finances!  Her favorite Celebrity is Chelsea Handler, and if she were a crayon, she would be Chocolate Brown. The most important life lesson Sarah has learned is ‘nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending’.  Sarah’s favorite thing about working at W&R is the loyalty and dedication of the Sales team. “It’s gratifying to come to work and thrive to be better everyday.”

Angela Varosh -Sales Manager- specializing in Weddings, Socials, & Corporate Market; Angela has been with W&R for approximately 5 years this fall.  Angela was married October 2007 at Wine & Roses!  She and her husband, Nate, have a puppy- Paisley.  Angela enjoys cooking, (her brownies are off the hook!) skiing, and water polo- basically anything outdoors. She likes to watch ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ and ‘Damages’, and she loves all kinds of food. Not too many people know that Angela is fluent in 3 languages and has a motorcycle. The most important life lesson Angela has learned is that ‘life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learning to dance in the rain.” Angela’s specialty in her position is organization and customer service. Her favorite thing about working at W&R is the property- there is nothing like it!

Charina Sales -Sales Manager- specializing in Weddings; Charina has been with W&R for approximately 8 years. She has been happily married for 7 years, and was married at Wine & Roses!  Charina and Jon, her husband, have a 3 1/2 year old daughter, Ava Bella. Charina was born in Manila, Philippines and came to the U.S. when she was 2. She loves to design clothes and accessories, (which we are all proud owners of) and spend time with her family. All of us know that Charina is a celebrity junkie, and does awesome impressions of her mom in her heavy, Filipino accent. The most important life lesson Charina has learned is from her Mom- ‘to have a forgiving heart and live peacefully.’  Charina’s favorite thing about working at W&R is her team. She is very proud to be part of a team that is supportive, caring and creative. She also loves the surroundings.

Amanda Bondoc -Sales & Marketing Coordinator; Amanda has been with W&R for approximately 2 years (she started in the spa).  She is happily single, and loves scrapbooking, shopping, and event planning. If she were a crayon she would be the color Pink.  Not many people know that Amanda has the most amazing handwriting (She offers handwriting services.) The most important life lesson she has learned is to ‘Never judge a book by its cover’, and she loves Wine & Roses because it is well rounded company, and she enjoys the people she works with.

Heather Reagan -Director of Sales & Marketing; Heather has been with W&R for 6 years this fall. She is originally from Chicago, has 2 sons; Canyon- 9, Shaye Tas- 6, and a daughter Irelynd- 21 months.  Heather likes to work, hang out with her kids, shop for home interiors, and go boating with her family.  She is a music junkie!  And, she loves fall.  The most important life lesson Heather has learned is that peace comes from within.  Heather’s favorite thing about working at W&R is her team- the dedication, care, and passion each of them have to selling and creating memorable experiences; as well as the vision and care of the owners to create a one-of-a-kind hospitality venue…being part of this is an amazing opportunity.
